Hi Barry,
Luckily Lenovo have a one key recovery option which restores to factory settings but leaves windows 10 intact so all I had to do was save data, programs etc to an external disc and import when restore was finished. Good Luk if you go down the restore route.
Regards
Keith

Feb 15, 2017 10:04 I am running PowerDirector 14 on a Windows 10, 64bit laptop and recently I have been getting the following error window with the title 'PDR.exe has stopped working'
I immediately contacted Cyberling Tech Help and after sending them various pieces of information they identified the problem with the following driver 'igc64.dll'. Cyberlink couldn't helpas it was a driver problem and referred me to my laptop manufacturer.
After numerous attempts at getting the latest version of 'igc64.dll' installed, the problem persisted and I was left with the last resort, which was a factory reset as PD14 was working when I downloaded it initially.
I have just completed the reset and downloaded PD14 again and this seems to have cured the problem. I know some of you will think this a bit drastic but it was the only option and Thank God it worked.

Feb 15, 2017 10:09 Good day, Keith. Really happy you solved your problem. I, too am having a dll issue, the only thing (?) I am aware of it affecting is my ability to alter the background of a menu, but at least PD works/opens. Your move to Factory Reset gives me hope, but I dread all forms of re-installing Windows, and having to re-install all my apps. I have been avoiding it like the Plague. Maybe this week I'll break down. Thank you for the post. This message was edited 1 time. Last update was at Feb 15. 2017 10:09 Miele w 1918 service manual.
